We are looking for passionate and dedicated mental health interns to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Mental Health Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the mental health field while working remotely. This role includes participating in weekly outdoor workshops designed to deepen your understanding and practice of meditation and mindfulness. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates in psychology, counseling, social work, or related fields who are eager to learn and contribute to our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing mindfulness and meditation programs.
- Support the planning and execution of weekly outdoor workshops.
- Conduct research on mental health topics and best practices.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry and report preparation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
- Engage with clients under supervision, providing support and resources as needed.
- Promote mental health awareness through social media and community outreach.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Strong interest in meditation, mindfulness, and mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Reliable internet connection for remote work.
- Availability to participate in weekly outdoor workshops.
