We are a leading Automotive and Solar Battery manufacturer in the East African region looking for a dynamic and innovative individuals to join our Management Trainee Program, as part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing talent.
Position Overview:
As a Management Trainee, you will embark on immersive 2-years learning journey designed to develop your Leadership and Management skills within the battery manufacturing. This program offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, exposure to various departments, and the chance to work closely with experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you throughout your training.
Learning Journey will include (but not limited to):
- Rotational Learning: Rotate through different departments within the organization, including production, quality control, research and development, Engineering, safety protocols, and environmental compliance to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations.
- Training and Development: Participate in a structured in-house cross functional training programs which include but not limited to technical, research and development, business acumen, leadership skills and corporate governance.
- Project Management: Work on cross-functional projects under the guidance of Senior Managers, contributing to operational excellence, process improvement, cost reduction, and product innovation initiatives.
- Environmental Stewardship: Learn and actively contribute to the company’s sustainable Environmental Social Governance (ESG) initiatives, including waste reduction, emission control and reduction of carbon footprint.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real-world business challenges, fostering teamwork and effective communication.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, findings, and recommendations, ensuring comprehensive reporting to Management.
- Mentorship: Seek guidance and mentorship from experienced Leaders, actively participating in oneon-one mentorship sessions and performance evaluations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the global battery manufacturing.
The Candidate:
- Fresh Graduates not exceeding 25-years of age with Bsc. Industrial Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/ Analytical Chemistry.
- Demonstrate intellectual knowledge, IT Savvy and creativity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Leadership potential and a drive to take on increasing responsibilities.
