Job Overview

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will support Smoove Africa’s digital marketing initiatives, focusing on content creation, website management, and performance analysis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute ideas, build skills, and help shape our online presence.

Key Responsibilities.

• Edit and create engaging content for social media channels, ensuring alignment with their brand voice.
• Develop fresh content ideas to keep our audience engaged and grow our online presence.
• Keep the Smoove Africa website updated with relevant content, and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Analyze social media performance metrics, generating insights to refine strategies and improve engagement and reach.
• Monitor website track and performance, using analytics tools to suggest and implement optimizations.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the second-hand furniture market.

Qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of website and e-commerce management tools (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, Wix).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Canva or similar design tools is a plus.
• Previous experience in digital marketing (internships or entry-level roles) is a bonus but not required.
