Role Description:

The Key Account Associate will be instrumental in driving the growth of our automotive sales by managing accounts, onboarding new clients, and ensuring a seamless experience for both car sellers and buyers. This role combines new account creation, account management, and documentation responsibilities to foster strong client relationships and support our sales initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specifically, the Key Account Associate at Peach can expect to own the following elements:

New Account Creation (20% of work):

a. Collaborate with members of the Growth and Sales teams to identify potential business sources for both car sellers and car buyers.
b. Schedule and conduct meetings with stakeholders to present and propose our sales solutions.
c. Onboard new clients to our system, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of our processes.

Account Management (50% of work):

a. For Businesses Selling with Peach:

i. Assist new and existing businesses in selling their cars through Peach.
ii. Ensure that all necessary documentation is signed and in place.
iii. List cars and manage them within the team, providing weekly updates to sellers about their vehicles.
iv. Coordinate viewings (if applicable) and lead negotiations to finalize sales.

b. For Businesses Buying with Peach:

i. Understand the needs of businesses looking to purchase cars.
ii. Clearly communicate our sales processes and requirements to clients.
iii. Coordinate viewings and facilitate negotiations to secure the best deals for clients.

Documentation, Data Analysis and Reporting (20% of work):

a. Conduct data entry and updates for all engagements with customers.
b. Ensure complete and accurate information is maintained in both the CRM and Sales Agent App.
c. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
d. Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales metrics, and client satisfaction to the management team.
e. Utilize analytical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven recommendations for enhancing sales strategies.

Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders (10% of work):

a. Regularly update internal stakeholders within the Growth and sales team and other departments on key account management issues/concerns.
b. Ensure that the appropriate team members are informed of concerns, issues, and challenges and track resolution.
c. Collaborate with the Inspection team for quality control inspections and engage with the Sales team to gather insights on customer perspectives.
d. Actively engage with stakeholders, participate in business meetings, collaborate on projects to understand business needs and influence decision making.

Knowledge and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.

Experience: 2+ years previous experience in account management, sales or customer service, preferably in the automotive Industry.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage and correspond with internal and external stakeholders.

Problem Solving: Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive approach to meeting client needs.

Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, etc) for document management and reporting.

Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and Independently when required.

Analytical and Data-Driven Thinking: Ability to leverage data to drive decision-making. Analytical thinking is essential to assess trends, draw insights, and inform decision making.
