Mechatronics Engineer (Management Graduate Trainee) – REF: MCT/GE/2025/05

The role involves, designing, developing , and maintaining smart systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer engineering.

Responsibilities

1. Developing engineering designs as per set standards and procedures
2. Undertaking repair and maintenance of tools, machines and equipment
3. Effective utilization of tools and operation of machines and equipment
4. Adherence to quality, health and safety standards
5. Participating in project planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation
6. Meeting the agreed the performance measures
7. Adhering to the established internal controls necessary to safeguard against errors and fraud
8. Participating in risk management and development of mitigation measures
9. Supervising and directing personnel involved in engineering works
10. Utilization of technological innovations in engineering works
11. Develop specialized computer software routines, internet-based Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases, or business applications to customize geographic information.

Preferred Specifications/ Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering or related field from a recognised Institution.
2. Registered as a Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) or any other registration by a relevant Professional body.
