Communications and Field Support Intern

Greenhance Development Initiatives (GDI) is a national non-governmental organization founded and registered under the NGO coordination Act in July 8th, 2022 in Kenya. The GDI mandate is to promote sustainable agricultural production and contribute to environmental conservation. GDI targets to contribute to SDGs for sustainable human communities and healthy ecosystems thus harmonious habitation with mother nature.

Location: Thika, Kenya (with flexibility for remote work)
Duration: 3 months, with potential renewal

Greenhance Development Initiatives (GDI) is offering an exciting opportunity for a Communications and Field Support Intern to join our team!

At GDI, we work with communities to advance sustainable development, amplify local voices, and promote agroecology, climate justice, and food system transformation. As an intern, you’ll help manage our digital platforms, create impactful content, document field activities, and contribute to youth and community mobilization.

Who we’re looking for:

• A Diploma or Degree holder in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Community Development, or related fields
• A creative communicator with strong writing and social media skills.
• Passionate about youth empowerment, grassroots development, and environmental sustainability
• Bonus if you have photography, video editing, or Canva experience!
