Your Role
• Prepare and cook a variety of meals as per the restaurant’s menu and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and hygienic manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
• Assist with menu planning and suggest improvements where necessary.
• Ensure proper storage of food items and minimize wastage
Qualifications
• Proven experience working as a cook in a restaurant (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Excellent hygiene and food safety practices.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Certificate/Diploma in Food Production or related field is an added advantage
Salary: KSH 20,000 – 25,000
