Bondo Technical Training Institute is a public TVET institution operating under TVET Act No. 29 in the State Department of Vocational and Technical Training under the Ministry of Education. Applications are invited for the following positions:

Water Engineering Trainer (1 Position)

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of a HND/ Degree in water engineering.
• KCSE Certificate
• 2 years’ experience in the field
• Proven practical laboratory experience in an educational or research institution.
• Knowledge of safe handling, preparation, and disposal of chemicals and biological materials.

Civil Engineering Trainer (1 Position)

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of a HND/ Degree in Civil Engineering
• KCSE Certificate
• 2 years’ experience in the field
• Proven practical laboratory experience in an educational or research institution.
• Knowledge of safe handling, preparation, and disposal of chemicals and biological materials.

Land Survey Trainer (1 Position)

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Land Surveying
• KCSE Certificate
• 2 years’ experience in the field
• Proven practical laboratory experience in an educational or research institution.
• Knowledge of safe handling, preparation, and disposal of chemicals and biological materials.

Automotive Engineering Trainer (2 Position)

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of a HND/ Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
• KCSE Certificate
• 2 years’ experience in the field
• Proven practical laboratory experience in an educational or research institution.
• Knowledge of safe handling, preparation, and disposal of chemicals and biological materials.

Agriculture Trainer (1 Position)

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in General Agriculture.
• KCSE Certificate
• 2 years’ experience in the field
• Proven practical laboratory experience in an educational or research institution.
• Knowledge of safe handling, preparation, and disposal of chemicals and biological materials.

Fisheries and Aquaculture Trainer (1 Position)

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in fisheries and aquaculture.
• KCSE Certificate
• 2 years’ experience in the field
• Proven practical laboratory experience in an educational or research institution.
• Knowledge of safe handling, preparation, and disposal of chemicals and biological materials.

Laboratory Technician (Applied Science) (1 Position)

Minimum Requirements

• Certificate in Applied Sciences, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• KCSE Certificate
• 2 years’ experience in the field
• Proven practical laboratory experience in an educational or research institution.
• Knowledge of safe handling, preparation, and disposal of chemicals and biological materials.

Job Purpose:

To provide technical support in the preparation, delivery, maintenance, and management of practical sessions and laboratory resources for applied science courses, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective learning environments.

Food And Beverage Trainer (1 Position)

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field.
• Pedagogical training in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
• At least 2 years of practical industry experience in hospitality and/or 1 year of teaching/training experience in a TVET institution.
• Registration with TVETA as a trainer is an added advantage.
