Professional Requirements
- Must possess Certificate of Secondary Education
- Must possess Diploma in Library and Information Studies or its equivalent from a recognized institution
- Must provide evidence of computer literacy
Duties and Responsibilities
- Issue and receive library materials
- File all the various Library catalogue cards
- Compile lists of over dues materials
- Record and analyze work statistics
- Prepare book pockets/cards and affix them on relevant books and Spine mark
- Dispatch books to respective destinations for further action
- Produce catalogue cards
- Compile accession lists
- Photocopy materials for users
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
