DEAN OF STUDENTS DEPARTMENT

Position: Counseling Assistant III  – (Permanent & Pensionable Terms)

Department: Dean of Students

Reporting To: Senior Counselor

Professional Requirements

1. Must possess Diploma in Counseling Psychology or its equivalent from a recognized institution
2. Must have a Certificate in HIV Counselling and Testing from NASCOP
3. Must be registered with Counsellor and Psychologist Board of Kenya
4. Must be provide evidence of computer literacy

 Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in orientation of new students
2. Assist in provision of family life education in conjunction with the Senior Counselor
3. Assist in preparation for public lectures/seminars on social and psychological concern
4. Assist in coordinating crisis interventions
5. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
