Job Summary
Medprime Training College is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to support the finance department in daily accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, student fee reconciliation, and financial reporting while gaining valuable hands-on experience in an academic environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports.
- Support in posting transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Handle petty cash, receipts, and payment documentation.
- Verify and file financial documents and invoices.
- Assist in student fee reconciliation and follow-ups on outstanding balances.
- Assist with bank and cash reconciliations.
- Participate in inventory checks and stock updates.
- Support the finance team in audits and internal reviews.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Accountant or Branch Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA Part I or II will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software is desirable.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
