The Capital Markets Authority is a statutory agency charged with the responsibility of regulating and developing an efficient capital market in Kenya. The Authority invites applications for the following position:
STUDENT ATTACHMENT – REGULATORY FRAMEWORK – 1 POSITION
Attachment Period: 3 months (non-renewable)
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Policy and Regulatory Framework the selected candidate will be responsible for;
1. Supporting the unit in undertaking legal research to help in legal review and drafting;
2. Liaising with relevant stakeholders in the development of legislative instruments;
3. Assisting in the preparation and coordination of stakeholder forums on regulatory framework; and
4. Coordinating stakeholder workshops.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A continuing student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Diploma in Law from a relevant institution.
