We are a dynamic printing company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to join our team.Your primary role will be to ensure all products produced on our FLEXO PRINTING MACHINE meet the highest standards of quality, from the press sheet through to final post-print inspection. You will be the guardian of our output, ensuring customer specifications are consistently achieved.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- On-Press Quality Monitoring: Conduct real-time inspections during production runs on the flexo press, checking for color consistency, print registration, ink density, and defects.
- Post-Print Verification: Perform thorough final inspections of printed materials after slitting, rewinding, or other finishing processes.
- Standard Setting & Documentation: Approve press sheets at job start-up, maintain detailed quality control logs, and document any non-conforming products.
- Problem Solving & Analysis: Identify the root causes of printing defects (e.g., streaking, misregistration) and work directly with press operators to implement immediate corrections.
- Team Collaboration & Training: Provide direct feedback to the press crew and assist in training team members on quality standards and defect recognition.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 3 months of hands-on experience in a press-side or post-print quality control role within a flexographic printing environment.
- Practical experience with multi-color process printing is essential.
- Ability to use basic QC tools (e.g., densitometer, magnifying loupe, spectrophotometer) is a strong advantage.
- Must possess a keen eye for detail, color, and visual imperfections.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under production deadlines.
