Responsible to: Finance and Business Advisory Team Leader
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Provide assistance in advisory support in accounting services and Preparing books of accounts for KKCO East Africa LLP and for outsourced clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintaining and preparing books of account on Xero/QuickBooks/Sage or other accounting software and updating approved transactions daily.
- Providing monthly financial management accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies including NSSF, NHIF, PAYE and VAT.
- Management of petty cash.
- Maintaining filling systems for accounting documents and vouchers.
- Management of payments and procurement process as per the finance manual.
- Ensuring monthly bank reconciliations are prepared and approved by the 10th of the following month.
- Billing, receipting and updating client accounts.
- Management of asset registers.
- Effective and efficient management of books of account.
- Review expenditures to ensure accuracy, validity and completeness of supporting documents
- Preparing all ledgers and journals and provide support during internal and external audits.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting from a recognized university.
- CPA / ACCA Intermediate
- Good communication skills
