Kituo Cha Sheria-Legal Advice Centre is a national non- governmental organization established in 1973 to empower the poor and marginalized and to enhance equity and access to justice for all.

Are you willing to work with, among and for the poor, vulnerable and marginalized communities in difficult urban and rural settings in Kenya? Do you aspire to make a real impact while gaining hands-on experience in the legal, governance, human resources, accounting, or counselling sectors?
Kituo Cha Sheria is offering three-months practical Attachment and six-month opportunities for:
- Interns (recent graduates in Legal, Governance, Human Resources, Accounting, Counselling) – 6 months
- Students on Practical Attachment (Legal, Governance, Human Resources, Accounting, Counselling) – 3 months
- Law Pupils (Having completed ATP Programme) – 6 months
- Volunteer Holding-Over Advocates (Having just-gained admission as an advocate with no experience) – 6 months
- Paralegal intern (Having completed Diploma in law, criminology.paralegal training from Kenya school of Law or any other accredited institution) – 6 months
LOCATION & DURATION
The positions are available at our Nairobi and Mombasa offices as well as in our social justice centres. The placements for interns, law pupils and volunteer holding -over advocates will commence on 1st January 2026 to 30th June 2026. Placements for student attaches will commence on 1st January 2026 and 1st April 2026 and terminate on 30th March 2026 and 30th June 2026 respectively
