Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Nairobi are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Intern to join our culinary team in Nairobi, Kenya. Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of meals according to standard recipes, ensuring portion control and minimizing waste
  • Apply necessary precautions related to the hotel’s food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
  • Clean and maintain all equipment in the food production area
  • Attend all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as assigned by management
  • Support the kitchen team in various tasks, including food prep, plating, and kitchen organization
  • Learn and practice proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Participate in menu development and recipe testing under chef supervision
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications
