Graduate Trainee-Microbiologist
Location: Thika
Job Summary:
Ensure compliance in terms of Microbiology as per set statutory requirements and company set regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Execute departmental activities in alignment with production strategies, policies, and procedures to meet organizational goals.
- Identify issues through microbiological analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Continuously update and apply new knowledge in microbiological testing techniques and standards.
- Prepare and oversee the daily implementation of work plans and schedules.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly working environment.
- Perform hygiene inspections within the production facility.
- Implement quality, customer excellence, and change initiatives to support business objectives and culture.
- Apply proper calibration and handling procedures for microbiological equipment.
- Possess strong knowledge of chemical analysis related to food products.
- Supervise inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Microbiology/any other relevant course
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the role
