The National Housing Corporation (NHC) is a statutory body established under the Housing Act (Cap. 117). Its primary mandate is to implement Government Housing Policies and Programmes.
The Corporation is seeking to recruit results-driven and highly motivated individuals to fill the following positions.
Estates Officer II/I (Valuation & Estates Agency) NHC Grade 8/7
Duties and responsibilities
- Implementing and review policies, strategies procedures and guidelines on valuation & agency.
- Undertaking marketing, letting and sell new and old Estates (both residential and commercial).
- Undertaking on-boarding of tenants and purchasers as per the procedure
- Providing secretarial services to the House Sale and Letting Committee.
- Carrying out property market survey/studies and/or supervise valuation exercises.
- Carrying out periodic rental assessments/surveys, open market valuations to determine the Corporation’s land and housing units;
- Reviewing rental yield annually.
- Maintaining valuation, documentation, reports and journals;
Person Specification:
For appointment to this grade, a person must have: –
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Land economics, Real Estate Management, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
