The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), established under the Environmental Management and Coordination Act (EMCA) Cap 387 is mandated to exercise general supervision and coordination over all matters relating to the environment in Kenya; and to be the Principal Instrument of Government in the implementation of all policies relating to the environment.

The Authority invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following vacant positions.

Records Management Assistant

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensuring that letters are appropriately filed and marked to action officers;
2. Controlling and opening of files and updating file index;
3. Ensuring security of information/files in the registry;
4. Up-dating and maintaining up-to-date file movement records;
5. Ascertaining the general cleanliness of the registry.

Qualifications

1. Diploma or Higher Diploma in any of the following fields; record/Information Management, Information/Library Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
2. Proficiency in computer applications
