Bimas Kenya, a leading microfinance institution in Kenya, is a human and enterprise development organization without religious, political or Governmental affiliations that provides access to financial and technical assistance services to clients for sustainable wealth creation.

We seek to recruit capable and result oriented individuals to fill the following position of Registry and Records Management Intern.

Term : 3 Months
Minimum Qualifications: Diploma or degree in a relevant field
Reporting To: Human Resource Manager
Department: HR & Administration Department

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:

  1. Computer literacy
  2. Minimum Grade of C plain
  3. Mmust be at least 23 years of age

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Classify and label documents and file accordingly
  • Ensure the document management system is up-to-date
  • Ensure the registry and Archive are clean
  • Respond to record requests by retrieving requested files
  • Maintain accurate records of document orders and movements
  • Remove or archive repeated documents or irrelevant/out-dated information
  • Respond to queries in person, by e-mail, by post, or by phone
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and Integrity
  • Able to work as part of a team
