The Kenya Power Pension Fund (KPPF) is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Intern. This is your chance to conduct critical legal research, review complex documentation, and master regulatory monitoring at a key industry player.
Kenya Power Pension Fund (KPPF) provides benefits and pension for all permanent and pensionable employees of Kenya Power, Ketraco and Nupea companies.
Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Legal & Compliance the intern will:
- Conduct legal research and preparation of legal opinions, advice, and reports on technical legal matters.
- Review legal documentation.
- Prepare and safekeeping of legal documents including contracts and leases.
- Legal & regulatory compliance monitoring and reporting on changes to applicable statutes and regulations.
- Review of contracts to which the Fund is a party.
- Draft various legal documents including contracts and leases.
- Co-ordinate of activities in the Legal Section and compilation of documents as required.
- Any other relevant duty or responsibility assigned by the Head of Section from time to time.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Law from accredited and recognized institution.
- Diploma from accredited and recognized institution.
