Odex Chemicals Limited is a leading manufacturer of industrial detergents, sanitizers, and water treatment solutions. We are seeking a Production Processor to join our production team and support efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh and mix raw materials according to production instructions
- Regulate liquid flow from tanks using taps/valves and ensure proper closure
- Submit product samples to the laboratory after each production batch
- Ensure all raw materials and equipment are available before production begins
- Clean and maintain tanks, mixers, and workstations after production
- Inspect finished products, isolate any defective items, and report issues promptly
- Ensure proper packaging, labelling, batch coding, and documentation of finished goods
- Maintain cleanliness of the factory floor and manage any spillages immediately
- Adhere strictly to safety rules, ISO requirements, and company policies
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues to the Production Manager
- Work collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines at all times
- Promote a strong safety culture within the workplace
- Ensure safe handling of materials, equipment, and tools
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Certificate in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or any other relevant science-based course
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to detail
- Basic understanding of safety and quality control procedures
- Team player with good communication skills
- Physically fit and willing to work in a factory setting
