Finance Graduate Trainee

Working under the guidance of a senior accountant, you will apply analytical precision and clear communication to support month‑end processes, maintain orderly financial records, and ensure full compliance with established policies. This two‑year contract is ideal for fresh finance graduates eager to launch a career, equipped with strong attention to detail and interpersonal abilities.

Reports to: Senior Accountant.
Employment terms: 2 years contract.

Role Purpose Statement:

Support the finance department by keeping accurate financial records, processing member transactions correctly, and helping ensure the financial health of the SACCO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily member transactions like deposits, withdrawals reversals and other transactions accurately.
• Support with daily and monthly reconciliation of member personal accounts.
• Prepare payment vouchers and assist with processing the SACCO’s bills and expenses.
• Maintain organized financial files and documents for easy reference and audit.
• Follow all SACCO financial policies and procedures carefully.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you.

Requirements

Academic:
• Bachelor’s degree Finance and Accounting option.

Professional:
• CPAK will be an added advantage.

Desired Work Experience:
Fresh graduate from university.
