Business Relationship Officer role at Dimkes DT Sacco offers a dynamic entry‑level opportunity for budding Kenyan professionals eager to drive growth in a vibrant cooperative. In this role you will conduct client interviews, craft call reports, and nurture relationships by presenting account‑opening forms, while supporting the branch manager in strategy development and weekly performance tracking. Immediate start, one‑year renewable contract awaits a proactive, analytical talent ready to make impact.
Department: Marketing.
Reporting to: Branch Manager.
Location: Dimkes DT Sacco Branches.
Work Pattern/Hours: As per the Sacco’s HR Policy-Full time.
Start date: Immediately.
Terms of Employment: Contract-1-year renewable
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing – 50%
- Customer interviews and interactions both at the Sacco premises and at their premises to understand their needs and offer the right products.
- Preparation of customer call reports for all visits made to existing and prospective accounts.
- Present customer account opening forms to Customer Service Officer for processing
- Tracking of daily sales activity and reporting same to the Branch manager.
- Required to open set target accounts, and ensure these accounts are active and of the required minimum share capital as per the Sacco by-laws.
- Mobilize BOSA and FOSA deposits as per the set targets.
- Generate, qualify leads and source for client’s referrals.
- Assist the branch manager in preparing sales strategies, proposals and action plans.
- Actively participate in Sacco marketing activities as directed by the line manager.
Business Development & Relationship Management – 50%
- Grow the Sacco Assurance Business by actively marketing and selling products and services to new and existing members.
- Regular visits to clients and prospective clients to keep track of their evolving needs and support their growth by offering appropriate products or applicable services.
- Participate in members cash collection when called upon.
- Cross selling and upselling to increase volume of business from clients to continually grow the business portfolio.
- Keep updated changes on Sacco environment, competition and customer’s business environment.
- Maintain excellent customer experience and grow good client relationships and customer loyalty
- Prepare and present sales activities, plans and timely preparation of weekly sales reports.
- Respond to member inquiries, concerns and maintain a record of the same.
- Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
- Any other duty delegated.
Ideal Job Holder Specifications:
Academic:
- Diploma in business related field.
- A degree will be an added advantage.
Desired Work Experience:
- At least One (1) year working experience.
