About the Role
NexGen Fuelworks is seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Technical Trainees to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates with a Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering who are passionate about the Oil & Gas downstream sector. The internship provides hands-on exposure to fuel equipment, dispensing pumps, compressors, and related systems, supporting our field service and maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians in installation, servicing, and maintenance of fuel equipment.
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues at client sites.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and reporting activities.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and safety standards during fieldwork.
- Document and record daily job activities as guided by supervisors.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in Oil & Gas equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or related.
- Prior experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong interest in the Oil & Gas downstream industry.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to hands-on fieldwork.
- Flexible to travel frequently across different sites.
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
