Quotations Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal & Pricing Accuracy - Check proposals quoted by the sales team and ensure all prices match supplier rates (accommodations, activities, park fees, jeep prices, flights, supplements)
- Sales Team Support - Act as an information center for the sales team
- Booking Management - Keep track of unpaid confirmed bookings
- Itinerary Handling - Create and amend itineraries as required
- Adjustments - Add supplements, surcharges, or discounts where needed
- System Update - Ensure room configuration and pricing are correctly updated in the system.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Tour Administration, Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the travel industry, particularly in reservations, hotel bookings, or quotations.
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and analytical skills
- Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge, including payment collection and cost verification.
- Proficiency in reservation systems and software; knowledge of QuickBooks or similar tools is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
