IT Programmer and Web Developer at Future Kenya

Future Kenya is an IT Solutions company poised to provide it’s clients with comprehensive technology solutions to elevate their business.

We are seeking an IT Programmer and Web Developer skilled in building websites for small to large businesses. The candidate should have a solid understanding of social media integration, e-business, and accounting policies, as well as business processes, information gathering, and project implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Development in .NET, C#, and SQL with a backend focus.
• Experience in ERP, accounting concepts (ledgers, sub-ledgers, debits, and credits), or business management software is a strong asset.
• Collaborate directly with customers to resolve issues, gather feedback, and learn about new use cases.
• Proficiency in C# features: class structure, OOP, attributes, generics, delegates, and lambda expressions.
• Knowledge of ASP.NET concepts, including application state, debugging, client/server-side development, web forms, and web services.
• Experience with SQL Server: writing/debugging complex SQL queries and understanding database structure.
• IIS experience: configuration and deployment of ASP.NET websites and security measures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish.
• Familiarity with source code control and self-documenting code standards.
• Effective testing and debugging practices.
• Aged between 22-28 years. MALE Candidates to apply only.
• Willing to accept a stipend during the accreditation period (3-6-9 months) and display ownership and awareness of the job description.
• Clear communication skills for technical and business audiences.
• Strong decision-making abilities and independent work ethic.
• Desire and ability to learn new applications and tools.
