About the Company

Shalimar Fresh Limited is a dynamic company committed to delivering high-quality fresh produce and maintaining strong operational standards. We are looking for a motivated and organized Human Resource Assistant to support the HR department in daily administrative and operational functions.

Reporting To: Human Resource Officer
Location: Nairobi, Naivasha and Rumuruti (3 positions)
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Entry Level

Job Purpose

The Human Resource Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resource Officer in implementing HR policies, maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment processes, and ensuring smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, posting, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new employees.
  • Assist in preparation of HR documents including contracts, letters, and reports.
  • Help maintain staff attendance records and leave management.
  • Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure HR files and documentation are properly organized and confidential.
  • Assist with compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or BA degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.
