St. Josephs Technical institute for the deaf Nyang’oma is an integrated Public TVET accredited institution in Bondo Sub-County along Bondo – Kopolo – Wagusu Road, approximately 12 Kilometers from Bondo Town. The college is seeking to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following positions of Trainers:
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus.
- Preparing professional training documents.
- Setting, moderating, administer and marking examinations/assessments.
- Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer.
- Supervising trainees’ projects and practical work.
- Provide guidance and counseling to trainees.
- Maintain good order and discipline among trainees under your care.
- Participating in development and review of curricula.
- Participating in development of training manuals.
- Setting, moderating and marking examinations.
- Participate in annual performance appraisals.
- Performing any other duty as maybe assigned by your supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
SJTTID/BOG/2026/01- ENTERPRENEURSHIP TRAINER (ONE POST)
- Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Entrepreneurship or equivalent from recognized institution.
- Be licensed by TVET Authority or meet the requirement for licensing by TVETA.
- Must have at least two years of experience in a learning Institution.
- Knowledge of Competency Based Education and Training (CBET).
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have a valid Certificate of good conduct.
SJTTID/BOG/2026/04 – HAIRDRESSING AND BEAUTY THERAPY TRAINER (ONE POST)
- Bachelor Degree/Higher National Diploma in Hair Dressing and Beauty Therapy/ Cosmetology or equivalent and relevant qualification
- Those with Diploma/Craft certificate in Hair Dressing and Beauty Therapy/Cosmetology or relevant TVET specialization have an added advantage.
- Be licensed by TVET Authority or meet the requirement for licensing by TVETA.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have a valid Certificate of good conduct.
