Cloud Developer (PaaS and SaaS)

Konza Technopolis is looking for a Cloud Developer in Konza City. You’ll design, develop, and deploy cloud systems, maintain solutions following best practices, and resolve infrastructure issues. You also collaborate with clients, support IT initiatives, and ensure data recovery. Duties and Responsibilities

1.  Designs, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems;
2.  Develops and maintains cloud solutions in accordance with best practices;
3.  Ensures efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with organization security policies and best practices in cloud security;
4.  Identifies, analysess, and resolves infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues;
5.  Regularly reviews existing systems and make recommendations for improvements;
6.  Interacts with clients, provide cloud supports, and make recommendations based on client needs;
7. Maintains Cloud OPEX & related CAPEX within Budget;
8.  Administers, configures and troubleshoots of server/storage hardware and operating system software. This includes implementation of tactical service
   improvements, upgrades and patching;
9.  Collaborates with the team and various stakeholders to identify technical problems, design solutions for them and help implement where required;
10. Operates of backup tools, respective hardware and software assurance and testing of disk and data recovery. In case of issues offer prompt restoration of lost data
    for the organization;
11.  Remediates of Security, Compliance and Audit Issues within the Cloud & Core Infrastructure;
12. Technical support for assigned organization initiatives and projects;
13.  Participation in feasibility studies and testing for new IT infrastructure components;and
14. Maintenance of systems documentation and procedures.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: –

1.  Bachelor’s degree in in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
2.  Proficiency in computer applications
