Key Responsibilities
- Process Payments: Efficiently manage Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions involving cash, mobile money (M-Pesa), and credit cards.
- Billing Accuracy: Ensure correct tab totals, balance daily tills, and reconcile payment summaries at shift close.
- Guest Relations: Welcome guests warmly at the counter, address billing inquiries, and maintain high customer service standards during peak matchday rushes.
- Operations Support: Coordinate with bar and service staff to confirm table tabs and process takeaway or delivery orders promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cashier in a high-volume restaurant, pub, or sports bar setting.
- Proficiency in handling POS systems and mobile payment platforms.
- Strong arithmetic skills and high attention to transaction detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, late evenings, and major sporting event days.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
