Accountant

Mzawadi Loyalty Group is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Entry-Level Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:
   • Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in accounting systems.
   • Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts.
   • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings.
2. Accounts Payable/Receivable:
   • Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
   • Manage client and vendor accounts to ensure timely payments.
3. Reporting:
   • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
   • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
4. Compliance:
   • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
   • Assist with audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
5. System Utilization:
   • Use accounting software effectively to streamline processes.
   • Leverage ZOHO Accounting Software for financial management (preferred).
6. Administrative Support:
   • Support the finance team with additional tasks as required.
   • Maintain organized financial documentation and records.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and CPA 2 and above
• Proficiency in accounting softwares; knowledge of ZOHO is an advantage.
• Experience working in a corporate setup, including internships or entry-level roles.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
