Savanna Circuit Tech Ltd is a Kenyan company that manufactures and distributes last mile solar chilling on transit systems that along with an AI enabled Dairy Management Systems ensures that dairy businesses/cooperatives efficiently cut on post harvest losses and maximize profits.
Role Overview:
You’ll assist in the installation and maintenance of solar-powered cooling systems while working closely with rural and peri-urban communities. This role combines technical expertise, community engagement, and fieldwork—perfect for someone who loves hands-on projects and impactful work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
Assist in the installation, operation, and basic maintenance of solar-powered cooling systems.
2. Community Engagement:
Support in training users, including cooperative members and farmers, on equipment usage and maintenance
3. Field Operations:
Assist in conducting site assessments, including data collection
4. Reporting:
Document field activities and observations for submission to the Field Technical Manager
What You Bring:
Qualifications and Skills
1. Technical Background:
Diploma or ongoing studies in engineering, renewable energy, refrigeration, or a related technical field.
2. Interpersonal Skills:
Enthusiastic and willing to learn how to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
3. Fieldwork Readiness:
Willingness to travel and work in rural areas under varying conditions.
4. Other Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English and local languages (e.g., Swahili) is desirable.
