Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation & Scheduling:
- Design and create engaging social media content (graphics, videos, reels, captions, etc.).
- Assist in planning and scheduling posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Research and curate relevant industry trends and user-generated content.
2. Community Engagement:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.
- Engage with followers, influencers, and relevant communities to build relationships.
- Conduct interactive activities like polls, Q&A sessions, and contests to boost engagement.
3. Analytics & Reporting:
- Track key social media metrics (reach, engagement, followers, etc.) and provide insights.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on social media performance and suggest improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes.
4. Collaboration & Strategy:
- Collaborate with the internal team to develop creative campaigns.
- Assist in influencer outreach and partnerships to expand reach.
- Brainstorm new ideas to enhance brand awareness and audience interaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or video editing software is a plus.
- Self-driven, creative thinker, and able to work independently.
- Organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
NB: This is an unpaid, remote internship ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain real-world experience in Digital Social Media Marketing. The intern will benefit from professional mentorship, resume-building experience, and the opportunity to work on impactful projects.
