Vacancy Description
HURESCO client is a global leader on the Sales, Marketing and distribution of Speciality Chemicals & Food Ingredients. They are looking for a Lab Assistant for their Food Laboratory based in their Nairobi Office.
Key Areas of responsibility: –
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment
- Support food product research, development, and quality testing
- Analyze data and communicate findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Process samples and fulfill customer sample requests
- Monitor lab supplies inventory
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and good laboratory practices
- Work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Degree in Food Science, Nutritional Science or related field (completed 2023/2024)
- Knowledge of food processing, safety, and regulations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
