World Vision Kenya is a child-focused Christian humanitarian, relief, development, and advocacy non-governmental organization with projects in most parts of Kenya. We serve everyone regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. In 2024 alone, we positively impacted over 4 million people, including 2.2 million children. World Vision Kenya has a two-tier governance structure consisting of a Board and an organizational membership. Organizational members are normally allocated to serve in Board Committees and task forces as may be determined by the Board from time to time.
To strengthen our governance and strategic oversight, we are seeking passionate, skilled, and values-driven individuals to serve voluntarily as our Board and Organizational Members. This is an opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven organization and help shape its strategic direction.

Key Competencies / Requisite Skills
- Fluent in English & Kiswahili (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Committed Christian (Trinitarian denomination)|
- Willing to volunteer a minimum of 12 days annually
- Proven professional competence and strategic leadership
- Experience in corporate governance
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of Kenya’s social, political, and economic context
- Innovative and adaptable
