Security Wardens

Applications are invited from qualified persons for the following positions shown below:

VACANCY NO 20/2025- SECURITY WARDEN,TWENTY THREE (23) POSTS, CSG 15

Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh.19, 340 – Ksh. 24, 470 P.M
Basic Salary: Ksh. 19,340 per month
House Allowance – Depending on duty station
Leave Allowance – as existing in the Civil/Service
Commuter Allowance – Ksh. 3,000 per Month
Medical Cover – as provided by the Government
Annual Leave – 30 working days per financial year

Requirements and Appointment:

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –

(i) Be in possession of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ Plus or its equivalent qualification;
(ii) A Certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police;
(iii) Be less than 36 years of age, physically and mentally fit;and
(iv) Proficiency in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Before deployment, direct entrants will undergo three (3) months, initial training as Security Warden III and on successful completion of their training, duties and responsibilities will involve patrol and / or guard of access points; detention of unauthorized persons and vehicles entering premises and/or protected areas and taking appropriator action controlling crowds, collecting information and reporting on matters of security interest.
