British American Tobacco Kenya has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Marketing and Distribution Intern (Fixed Term – 12 months) in Naivasha

INTERNSHIP DURATION: 12 months
Our internship program is designed for individuals who are looking to work in a dynamic global organization. The program comprises of functional projects which the intern will be assigned over a period of 1 year. Along with accomplishing challenging tasks every day, the candidate will receive coaching from the assignment manager through a structured plan and defined set of deliverables, to grow both business and leadership capabilities.
What you’ll do:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support Area contribution towards the Velo targets through Expansion, UAP compliance and RTM matrices post Mystery Shopper Activity.
- Work with the Velo Champion to track and delivery of the weekly, monthly, and quarterly IMS performance.
- Work to support the trade activities in West of Nairobi region, track efficiency and effectiveness weekly performance to be above national average.
What are we looking for?
- Must have graduated with a university degree (Bachelor’s level or higher) within the last year.
- Valid driver’s license for a manual vehicle, with a minimum of two years driving experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability of selling, problem-solving and negotiation.
- Strong English and Swahili proficiency.
