The Gender Desk is an independent media company founded by award-winning human rights journalists. We tell gendered stories that inequality tries to hide.
We are opening our doors to a journalism student trainee. This is a chance for someone still in school, curious enough to spare a few hours outside class to learn and work with us.
We want someone who sees possibility in social media, who wants to grow, ready to start small and build step by step. You will need a laptop and the courage to try, make mistakes, and learn in the process.
You don’t need to know everything. What matters is your ambition, energy, and hunger to do more with the skills you already have. In return, we will mentor you, challenge you, and help you
grow in media and advocacy.
