Fitness Instructor

Location: Westlands, Nairobi
Reports To: Head of Sports & Fitness
Starting Salary: Ksh 30,000/=

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client in corporate wellness is seeking a passionate & dedicated Fitness Instructor to support both virtual & physical fitness programs. The role involves working with multidisciplinary wellness professionals to deliver holistic wellness services to corporate and individual clients, while ensuring high-quality client engagement & program delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily virtual and physical fitness programs & ensure platforms & equipment are functional.
• Deliver engaging fitness classes, webinars & one-on-one coaching.
• Develop & share meaningful content to support client learning & retention.
• Create & manage structured training schedules & fitness programs.
• Support client acquisition &retention, driving growth through marketing & engagement.
• Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns professionally.
• Maintain updated certifications & participate in wellness events & inter-corporate activities.
• Prepare reports, assessments & fitness team documentation on time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Sports Science, Exercise Science, or related field.
• Certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor (mandatory).
• Additional certifications (e.g., yoga, Pilates, HIIT) preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certification (mandatory)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Fitness Instructor.
• Strong communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.
