Are you passionate about creating sustainable impact? KI4BLI is looking for people to join our dedicated staff team in support of our mission of empowering refugees and host communities through education, livelihood, and digital inclusion. We have the following vacant positions for 2026.

KALOBEYEI INITIATIVE FOR BETTER LIFE is a Community Based Organization, Registered under social service, Labor ministry of Kenya, Turkana County in 2020. It is an integrated organization with the lead of Refugees since 2018.  Currently working in four sectors Education, Livelihood, Health and Protection.

Mission: Providing scalable skills to both refugees and host communities for decent work and sustainable community development.

ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE ASSISTANT

Vacancies: 1 Position
Location: Kalobeyei
Duration: 12 months
Reporting to: Head of Administration

Role overview

The Administration and Finance Assistant provides essential support to ensure smooth organizational operations and strong financial management. The role assists with day-to-day administrative tasks, financial record-keeping, documentation, and reporting. This position helps maintain accurate financial data, supports procurement and logistics processes, and ensures compliance with organizational policies. The assistant works closely with the Administration and Finance teams to promote efficiency, accountability, and excellent office coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in processing financial transactions, including data entry, documentation, and filing.
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing payment requests and expense reports.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial and administrative records.
  • Provide support in office administration, including inventory management and logistical coordination.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and donor use.
  • Support procurement documentation and follow-up with vendors.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
  • Basic knowledge of financial systems and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Integrity, discretion, and a heart for service.
