Vacancy Description
The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), established under the Environmental Management and Coordination Act (EMCA) Cap 387 is mandated to exercise general supervision and coordination over all matters relating to the environment in Kenya; and to be the Principal Instrument of Government in the implementation of all policies relating to the environment.
The Authority invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following vacant positions.
Graphics Designer
Job Responsibilities
- Preparing graphic illustrations as required;
- Designing training materials, newsletters and other educational materials
- Producing and distributing publications, illustrative materials, and related graphic works that promotes the objectives of the Authority.
- Producing presentation and training materials required by the Authority staff including posters, overhead transparencies, slides and photographs;
- Producing presentation and training materials required by the Authority staff including posters, overhead transparencies, slides and photographs;
- Maintaining audio-visual equipment and their setting up for presentation;
- Storage and use of all training materials such as overhead projector, slides, posters and educational films
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics Design/Fine Arts or any other relevant field
- Proficiency in computer applications
