The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), established under the Environmental Management and Coordination Act (EMCA) Cap 387 is mandated to exercise general supervision and coordination over all matters relating to the environment in Kenya; and to be the Principal Instrument of Government in the implementation of all policies relating to the environment.

The Authority invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following vacant positions.

Driver

Job Responsibilities

1. Competency in driving vehicles and capable of detecting common mechanical faults;
2. Maintenance of the vehicle;
3. Carrying out minor repairs including oiling and greasing;
4. Maintenance of work ticket for vehicles assigned to the officer and ensuring safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
5. Maintaining cleanliness of the assigned vehicle

Qualifications

1. KCSE mean grade D plain
2. Valid driving license free from any current endorsements
3. Suitability Test for Drivers
4. Kenya Government Occupational Trade test III;
5. First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week
6. with relevant work experience
7. 1. Adequate knowledge of the Highway Code;
