Role Summary
The Graphic Designer Intern is responsible for the graphic and creative design of all clients and the organization’s internal communication materials, as per the briefs provided. The communication materials include newsletters, flyers, as well websites, advertisements, logos, packaging, and more. The creative executions should visually appealing and communicate the right message and attract people’s attention. They work with other team members to understand what is needed and come up with creative solutions. The role is for an individual who is self-driven, energetic, creative, curious person, enthusiastic and passionate of their work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- Showcase of work done and proven experience as a creative designer
- Excellent visual and conceptual skills
- Attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility
SKILLS + COMPETENCIES
- Entry level in Creative Design Studio or Printing Press with minimal (1-2 years) experience in an agency or any other busy organisation
- Cutting edge Graphic Designer with critical and creative thinking, who can go beyond conventional graphics (which is also expected) and look at Digital Design, Motion Graphics, Presentations & Graphic Editing
- Can use all the Macintosh related design and editing programmes including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and provide for basic Sketch, Typography, Branding and Layout Design)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with others and independently as needed
- Ability to cope with pressure and work with tight deadlines
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach
