About you

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:

1. Hold Masters Degree from a recognized institution;
   OR;
   MB-ChB, BDS with additional specialized training;
2. Have demonstrated ability for University teaching and research;
3. Have participated in conferences and similar learned fora;
4. iv. Fulfil requirements of Chapter Six of Constitution of Kenya 2010.

About the Role

The Tutorial Fellow will carry out the functions listed hereunder, with supervision of the Head of Department and assigned Senior Research or Academic Staff in the Department:

1. Carry out limited teaching under the supervision of assigned senior staff;
2. Marking of term papers and other class assignments, laboratory and field reports, special project reports and tutorial, and such other assignments, under the supervision of assigned senior staff;
3. Provide professional and community services;
4. Carry out other administrative duties & responsibilities as may be assigned by Head of Department;
5. Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
