Sales and Marketing Attachee
Location: Hybrid โ Nairobi, Kenya
Own our growth engine. You will be the person turning interest into orders, building customer relationships, and identifying the channels that bring the right people to OwnTheJoke.
What you will do
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth across all product categories
- Identify and pursue new customer acquisition channels, partnerships, and collaboration opportunities
- Manage customer relationships from first contact through post-purchase follow-up
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics, conversion rates, and customer feedback
- Coordinate with the content and design teams to align campaigns with sales objectives
- Conduct market research on competitor pricing, positioning, and emerging trends in the humour apparel space
- Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns, flash sales, and seasonal offers
- Represent OwnTheJoke at pop-up events, campus activations, and local markets when applicable
- Contribute to the development of the brand voice across all customer-facing touchpoints
- Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to the founding team
What we are looking for
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts including SEO, email marketing, and paid advertising
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with evolving priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Access to a laptop and reliable internet connection for remote work days
