The Warehouse Intern supports daily warehouse and supply chain operations by assisting in procurement, inventory control, stock monitoring, shipment tracking, logistics coordination, and records management. The role helps ensure efficient movement of goods, inventory accuracy, timely deliveries, and proper documentation while contributing to process improvement initiatives and gaining practical experience in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and issuing purchase orders.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock monitoring, replenishment, and inventory accuracy verification.
- Assist in analyzing demand forecasts and inventory levels to optimize inventory replenishment and minimize stock-outs.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials to meet production and customer requirements.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring shipments, including updating shipment status and resolving any transportation issues or delays.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to procurement, inventory, and logistics activities.
- Participate in supply chain improvement projects and initiatives to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Support data analysis and reporting efforts to provide insights into supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in conducting supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality and service level agreements.
- Provide administrative support to the supply chain team, including data entry, filing, and documentation.
Requirements
- Educational background includes a Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Warehousing or Logistics.
