We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Web Developer / Graphic Designer Intern within Elon Designs, based at our Nairobi office. This is a full-time, onsite role. The role holder will report to the Chief Technology Officer and will be supported to grow their technical and creative skills while contributing to client and internal projects across the Elona Group brand portfolio.
Role Purpose
The role holder will deliver web development and graphic design work for Elona Group clients and internal brands. The key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain CMS-based websites using WordPress and Elementor.
- Support front-end development tasks using React and Next.js under the guidance of the technical team.
- Create graphic design assets including brand identity materials, social media creatives, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce visual content aligned with brand guidelines.
- Participate in client project delivery, including website builds, revisions, and maintenance tasks.
- Attend all training, planning, and review meetings organized by the team.
- Uphold the image, quality standards, and brand of the Company.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
The basic requirements and qualifications should include but are not limited to:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of CMS development (WordPress and Elementor).
- Entry-level proficiency in React and Next.js.
- Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Canva, and Adobe Suite).
- A portfolio demonstrating design and/or web development work.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, disciplined, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work onsite at our Nairobi office.
