Jonerics Cargo Forwarders Limited, a one-stop logistics company, specializing in customs clearance, freight forwarding, inland transportation, and air/sea freight transit, is hiring Shipping Clerks (2 Positions) in Mombasa.
Onsite Role
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep track of allocated Bills of Lading (BLs) and request shipping line invoices immediately
- Keep track of delivery order processing
- Resolve issues arising in the shipping line
- Report any incidents or new conditions arising from shipping lines
- Update received shipping line refunded deposits in the system
- Request money needed for payment of shipping line invoices
- Update status after receiving delivery order from shipping line
- Keep a proper record of shipping line invoices and deposit refund applications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Certificate in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in a shipping, freight, or logistics support role is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Bills of Lading, delivery orders, and shipping line documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfortable using logistics/ERP systems
- Strong numerical, record-keeping, and organizational skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
