MIDRIFT HURINET is recruiting Youth Research Assistants in Nakuru and Kisumu.
MIDRIFT HURINET is non-profit organization that was founded in 2008 whose main mandate is to empower citizens, the state and non-state actors to inculcate a culture of Human Rights, Peace & Security and Good Governance.
The B.A.L.L. Project (Building Active Youth Leadership through Non-Formal Learning) is a two-year transnational initiative that brings together youth organisations from Denmark, Ghana, and Kenya to strengthen youth leadership, civic engagement, and peer-to-peer learning through sports and non-formal education.
We are seeking to recruit ten(10) research assistants based in Nakuru and Kisumu to collect data, facilitate interviews, and document the voices of young people contributing to social change.
The contract will last for a maximum period of 3 months which will include training in research design and field work.
Eligibility
- Aged 18-35
- Passion for Youth Development and Community Impact
- Experience in Research and Data collection
Playmakers (trained by MIDRIFT/Manyatta will receive priority consideration.
